Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

Posted on 15 December 2012 by Michael

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 available at TigerDirect $499.99

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, with10.1″ Touchscreen display, Android 4.0, 16 GB, Wifi, Dual Camera, and pen. A pen that some people really really like and some people don’t. The people that don’t like it probably own an Ipad. Oh Well.

The thing looks cool to me. But then again I’ve always been drawn to shiny objects. I’ve been in the market for a tablet for a while now and yes I am prejudiced against Apple. Sorry but I’m an anti Apple snob. I prefer my tablets and smartphones to have the name Samsung written on them if for no other reason than to piss off Apple people.

Anyway back to the Galaxy Note.

It even comes with Ice Cream Sandwich. No, not an actual ice cream, the operating system Ice Cream Sandwich. You know wanna something, I never really got why everyday people care what operating system runs their devices. Most people couldn’t tell a ram from a rom, so it’s not like they could tell the difference between Ice Cream Sandwich or Gingerbread or whatever food OS is the latest and greatest. I think they pretend to care cause it makes them sound hip. Well good for them. Being hip is always important.

Any way if you like the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and wanna do some research on it, check it out at TigerDirect. They have it for the price of $499.99. Pick one up for yourself or for that extra special loved one in your life. For that price that had better be a lot of love you’re getting back.

Samsung Galaxy Note

Posted on 07 March 2012 by Michael

I gotta admit, that Samsung Superbowl commercial introducing the world to the new Galaxy Note had me laughing off my ass. Of course I laugh at anything that comes at the expense of  Apple fanatics, but we’ll save that for another discussion.

So what did you think? Are you sold on the idea of a mid level tablet/smartphone the size of a laptop hard drive? Or are you burning brain cells trying to figure out just how in the hell this thing will fit in your pocket and to what effect your keys will have on it’s bright and shiny surface?

Personally I love the product. I don’t even mind it’s obnoxious size. As cool as Clint Eastwood made squinting, im a little bit tired at staring at those tiny iPhone screens. The Galaxy Note will be a welcome break.

What do you guys think about the Galaxy Note and it’s size?
